According to the Syrian National News Agency (SANA), on August 10 local time, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the US-backed "Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)" for launching attacks in many places in Syria, causing civilian deaths, and demanding that the United States immediately withdraw from Syrian territory.

The statement said that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) launched attacks on Deir ez-Zor, Hasakah, Qamishli, and several villages in eastern and northeastern Syria, killing many Syrian civilians, including women and children.

The statement said that the US occupation of part of Syrian territory is a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity. Syria said that the above inhumane and immoral practices are aimed at exacerbating the suffering of the Syrian people. Syria demands that the US stop these practices and immediately withdraw from Syrian territory.
