“Dining service” makes Beijing Trade Union Station a warm “coordinate”
"Now with discounted warm-hearted meals, plus a boiled egg, the total cost is only three or four yuan." Aunt He, who works as a sanitation worker in Longtan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing, is deeply touched by the thoughtful service offered by the restaurant's warm-hearted station.
The "Rider Restaurant" created by the Xiaoai Plaza Warm Station in Jiangtai area, Chaoyang District, Beijing, and surrounding merchants was officially launched recently. The "Rider Restaurant" is operated on a non-profit basis by two catering companies in the "Jiang Xiaoai" Charity Enterprise Alliance. It covers three meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and provides convenience and discounts for riders.
This is a microcosm of the "Union Station + Dining Service" launched by the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions to help outdoor workers experience happiness.
In recent years, the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions has innovated the "1+N" working model of trade union stations, focusing on the "difficult and expensive dining" problems commonly faced by outdoor workers, and focusing on the "trade union station + preferential dining" service. From 2023 to date, a total of 15 preferential dining service projects have been carried out, serving more than 80,000 people. The "dining service" makes Beijing's trade union stations a warm "coordinate".
Relying on service stations such as the Workers' Home and Trade Union Posts, the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions has tapped into "love resources" and, in accordance with the principle of "adapting measures to local conditions, from easy to difficult, and one policy for each household", has actively integrated and tapped into social resources such as catering companies, and through sustainable and replicable models such as "the trade union subsidizes a little, the merchant gives a little, and the delivery man pays a little", it has launched "9 yuan for a full meal" and "10 yuan set meal" and other "warm meal" discount projects.
At the same time, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions provides precise services and builds "characteristic brands" based on the differentiated needs and work and rest patterns of different groups. It provides meal delivery to stations, hot tea packaging, and on-site meal preparation services during holidays; it cooperates with a number of catering companies to build "Huiqi Restaurants" in areas with a high concentration of riders and draws "maps" to distribute to riders; it cooperates with "Internet celebrity" restaurants with large traffic flow and quickly identifies the identity of diners with their work clothes, delivering the warmth of "family" with tangible and caring services.
In addition, through innovative means and good use of the "smart platform", the dining service projects of the trade union stations are empowered with digital technology, and online activities such as "1 yuan dining" and "10 yuan dining" are created with the help of the "smart platform" of the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions; relying on the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions 12351APP to open "offline payment" dining activities, a one-stop smart service of scanning codes, payment, dining, and data export is realized, effectively expanding the pertinence and coverage of dining services.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Employee Service Department of the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions, the data of the Union Station has been dynamically pushed on the three map platforms of the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions 12351APP, Gaode, and Baidu. It is currently connecting with platform companies such as Meituan, Ele.me, and Didi to promote the presentation of the navigation data of the Union Station on the maps of riders and drivers to better serve outdoor workers.
