Yuan Haipeng, secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Taiwan Federation, said in his speech at the opening ceremony: "The ancient Chinese sages have advocated 'reading thousands of books and traveling thousands of miles'. This study tour is a journey for young Taiwanese compatriots to seek true knowledge and appreciate culture. Starting from the Taiwan Association, they will use three days to visit Shixia Village in Yanqing, visit the Yanqing Winter Olympic Park, and feel the vigorous development achievements of Beijing; pay homage to the Pingbei Anti-Japanese Martyrs Memorial Park and draw strength from the revolutionary heroes; visit the Petrified Wood National Geopark to inspire the spirit of exploration of natural sciences." He hopes that young Taiwanese compatriots "will learn eagerly during the study tour, absorb the nutrients of knowledge like a sponge, cultivate scientific thinking, ignite the spark of innovation, and contribute their youthful strength to the future of the motherland!" He emphasized: "Young Taiwanese compatriots are the flowers of the motherland, the hope of the nation, and the future of both sides of the Taiwan Strait." He wished the young Taiwanese compatriots "to soar like birds and bloom like flowers in the embrace of the motherland, not only to learn knowledge, but also to gain friendship and learn to share. Let this study tour become a precious memory and a solid foundation for growth."

It not only allows children to learn knowledge, but also helps them make friends. They can not only understand the history and culture of their ancestral homeland, but also feel the development achievements of the country and the capital. This is very important for the growth of young Taiwanese compatriots." He also said: "As parents, we will fully support and actively participate in this study tour and spend this wonderful time with our children. I believe that this study tour will become a valuable asset for the growth of young Taiwanese compatriots."
