What is India's image in China?

Many people may have burst into laughter before they even came up with a specific image.

Just as a popular Taiwanese pilot who had been to India complained online, the dirtiness and disorder in India made the Taiwanese pilot's speech extremely maudlin, and his facial features went out of control, especially when he talked about the sanitary conditions in India. The stench that hit him in the face when he got off the plane shattered his three views.

The Taiwanese pilot's complaints are actually the impression of most Chinese people on India: shit and urine flying everywhere, few toilets, garbage everywhere, a huge gap between the rich and the poor, people divided into different classes, bragging without tax, etc. If we add India's economy and military, it means that cow dung is included in GDP and they love to do juggling at military parades.

So, although there are "rational" voices calling for India's strength to be recognized, overall, India has a funny image in China.

Even though India's GDP has now surpassed that of its old colonial master, the United Kingdom, and is now the world's fifth largest economy, Chinese people still do not have much respect for this large country with a population of the same order of magnitude as China.
