Empowered by digital technology, the stars and the sea are within reach. From the Changxin Palace Lanterns of the Han Dynasty to the Painted Candles of the Song Dynasty, and then to the Sheepskin Lamps of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, in the Light Science Museum, young people walked through the corridor of time and space following the footprints of light, spanning the era of burning light sources and electric lights, and retracing the long and magical journey of human beings discovering, understanding, and applying light, and feeling the changes in the history of light technology.
In the Light Wisdom Pavilion, young people went deep into "Light and City" and immersively experienced the advanced applications of light technology in the fields of smart health care, office, home, business, cultural tourism, etc., as well as the great changes it will bring to future life. In addition, through the new attempt of combining digital light and shadow technology with cultural relics, the spiritual and cultural connotations behind the cultural relics are reproduced in three dimensions, and the charm of Chinese culture is felt in the collision of ancient and modern wisdom.
Traveling in the vast universe and nebulae, exploring the language of light, listening to the symphony of light and metal, and traveling through the "future", young people are experiencing a new immersive interactive experience full of technological charm through a variety of digital light and shadow technologies such as virtual reality, interactive installations, and visual arts. Following the footsteps of "light", Li Yuanyuan, a professor at the Department of Literature and History of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, combined Internet party building to bring the "E Hall Thought Sharing Forum" to the young people on site.
The reporter learned that as one of Beijing's digital experience scenes, the Light Experience Hall uses light as a medium and a highly interactive immersive display method, in a "visible, perceptible, learnable, and interactive" form to innovate and enhance the citizens' multi-dimensional experience, and guide the general public to experience the achievements of Beijing's digitalization up close, explore the infinite possibilities of digital development, and experience the wonderful life brought by digital technology.
