On August 9, the reporter learned from the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce that according to an announcement issued by the bureau, Zhengzhou City has raised the standard for car trade-ins.
Specifically, for individual consumers who scrap eligible old cars and purchase eligible new cars in accordance with the requirements of the "Implementation Rules for Automobile Trade-in Subsidies" (Shang Xiaofei Letter [2024] No. 75), the subsidy standard will be increased from 10,000 yuan for new energy passenger cars and 7,000 yuan for fuel passenger cars to 20,000 yuan and 15,000 yuan respectively. For consumers who have submitted applications and meet the subsidy conditions, the adjusted subsidy standard will be implemented.
It is worth noting that the scrapped motor vehicles for which consumers apply for subsidies must be registered in their own name before July 24, 2024 (inclusive). At the same time, the bank card used by consumers to apply for subsidies must also be in the name of the subsidy applicant and a UnionPay debit card (Type I bank account) issued by a commercial bank in the country. When filling out the subsidy application online, consumers need to accurately fill in the account opening bank information, specific to the card issuing point (for example: XX Bank XX Branch). Consumers who have uploaded materials and submitted bank card information need to go to the bank to upgrade the card type, and the account number cannot be changed.
During the application process for the old-for-new subsidy, the applicant must ensure that all the information submitted, statements made, and information filled in are true and valid, and be responsible for the authenticity of the information. If the review encounters unclear identification, incorrect filling, and other situations that require return and modification or the submission of other supporting materials, the relevant department will notify the applicant via SMS. Applicants should pay attention to check and check the reasons for the return in the mini program, and modify the materials in time before uploading them.
