Following a massive Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 leak, Activision Blizzard has begun sending cease-and-desist letters to Black Ops 6 leakers and websites hosting the leaked game.

One of the biggest hosts of the leaked version of Black Ops 6 is "PSLAN", and now the team claims to have received a cease and desist demand from Activision Blizzard. According to PSLAN, Activision stated in the letter that they sold the right to use Black Ops 6 for 6 euros per month and demanded compensation of 250,000 euros in damages. Hundreds of people have played Black Ops 6 through PSLAN.

PSLAN has since removed support for Black Ops 6.

In addition to the consoles being sent warning letters, some Call of Duty leakers also seem to have received similar notices. Twitter user @HeyImAlaix has been leaking Call of Duty news for years, and he also seems to have received a warning letter, and this is not the first time he has received a warning.

The warning will probably not stop the leaks from continuing, but it may slow them down for a while. In addition to the takedown warning, Activision has also issued a copyright takedown (DMCA) warning for all Black Ops 6 content.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released ahead of the game beta at the CODNext event in late August.
