Recently, the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (hereinafter referred to as "BEIHANG") Hangzhou International Campus held a press conference, and the "Xiaohang" AI assistant was unveiled.

"Xiaohang" is an open private domain large model created by Beihang University to support the trinity of learning, research and management for the cultivation of new talents and the construction of first-class disciplines. It is committed to improving teaching quality, accelerating scientific research progress, enhancing campus intelligence, and promoting the sharing, co-creation and co-education of digital education.
"Xiaohang" is also an open artificial intelligence base that integrates the design concepts of openness and private domains. It not only realizes the autonomous control and collaborative computing of private domain data, but also has the special learning ability of domain knowledge.
At the press conference, the "Xiaohang" AI assistant digital human gave a keynote speech, gave a detailed introduction to the project's R&D background, technological innovations and future application prospects, and vividly demonstrated the application scenarios and actual effects of "Xiaohang" in assisting students, researchers and managers in various fields such as campus learning, scientific research and life.
According to the research and development team of "Xiaohang" of the National Institute of Information Science and Technology of Beihang University, "Xiaohang" has four innovative features. The first is the "super brain". It is a domestically produced ultra-large-scale intelligent computing platform. Its hardware resources are deployed in the Beihang Hangzhou International Campus. In terms of architectural design, it has the advantages of high reliability, high security, high speed, and high scalability. It is equipped with a smart computing cluster of hundreds of thousands of cards, providing a computing power of up to 200 PFlops, and has a storage capacity of up to 12PB, which can fully meet the application needs of teachers and students across the school. The second is "learning from a hundred schools". Based on the self-developed multi-level consciousness projection technology and dynamic intelligent evaluation system, an intelligent adaptive evolution path is constructed, which makes "Xiaohang" open up his mind and stimulates the ability of wisdom to emerge. The third is "intelligent hybrid". Through the continuous human-machine collaborative learning technology, a private domain data space is constructed to generate its own unique personalized large model, so that the human brain and the intelligent brain complement each other, alleviate the long-term memory problem commonly faced by AI, and enhance people's knowledge absorption ability. Fourth, it has “one thousand faces for one thousand people”. It can provide personalized, self-learning, generative and accompanying high-quality services to teachers and students, course groups, research groups and departments of the whole school. With the nourishment of knowledge, we can learn and grow together with everyone and become experts in the field.
Beihang University Vice President Lv Weifeng said that the release of the "Xiaohang" AI assistant is a vivid practice of the school's integrated deployment of education, technology, and talent. Beihang University Vice President Zhao Weisheng said that the school attaches great importance to the deep integration of artificial intelligence and education, and has promoted the cultivation of a batch of new artificial intelligence scenarios as a key task.
