"Every city in China has its own characteristics. In my opinion, Linyi is a very large city with a population of more than 11 million, which is more than the population of the entire Belarus. Linyi is also a green city with a beautiful environment. People live and work in peace and contentment, making people feel comfortable and livable. At the same time, I have also seen how fast the city of Linyi is developing in the industrial field and how much it values education." On August 6, Kamik Andrei, the first vice president of the Belarusian State Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said in an interview with Poster News reporters.
Kamiko Andre has a very good impression of China. He has been to China three times and visited many Chinese cities. He was deeply impressed by his first visit to Linyi. He led a team to Linyi, mainly to visit and exchange with Linyi Vocational College of Science and Technology, and discuss cooperation in the fields of academic improvement of teachers and students, mutual visits and exchanges, and scientific research projects.
During the visit, Kamiko Andre praised the green and vibrant scene in the college, and the design of the campus buildings was also very popular with Kamiko Andre. In particular, seeing the college's strong support and investment in the experimental base, he deeply felt the college's firm determination to improve the quality of teaching and scientific research.
"Through the discussion and exchanges, we found that there are many common points between the two schools, and there are also many areas for joint cooperation. The initial intention is to cooperate in three areas: talent training, teacher exchanges, and 3+2 associate degree to undergraduate programs. I believe that our cooperation will strongly promote the development of Linyi Vocational College of Science and Technology and contribute to the cultivation of more high-quality talents with an international perspective." Kamiku Andre shared the prospects for cooperation of this trip with Poster News reporters.
During the interview, Kamiku Andre also specifically mentioned that he heard at the meeting that the school would hold a campus culture and art festival. He told the Poster News reporter that Linyi Vocational College of Science and Technology is a newly established university. It is the 5th anniversary of its founding. Holding a campus culture and art festival to celebrate the important moment and carry forward the cultural traditions of the college is a commendable move. I believe this will add a festival of extraordinary significance to Linyi Vocational College of Science and Technology. At the same time, I also wish Linyi Vocational College of Science and Technology better and better development in the future.
When it comes to Chinese food, Kamik Andrei is full of praise. "Chinese food is rich in variety, and each one has its own characteristics. During my visit to China, I tasted a lot of Chinese food, among which seafood was particularly delicious and unforgettable. What is even more surprising is that I found that even though China and Belarus are thousands of miles apart, there are many similarities in the food culture of the two countries, such as the common love of dumplings is the best example."
At the end of the interview, Kamiku Andrei sincerely hoped that the friendship between the peoples of China and Belarus would last forever, and that the Belarusian State Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Linyi Vocational College of Science and Technology could go hand in hand, deepen cooperation, and jointly open a new chapter in educational exchanges and scientific research cooperation between the two countries.
