The Municipal Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow rainstorm warning and a blue gale warning at 15:00 on August 8, 2024. It is expected that from 08:00 on August 9 to 08:00 on August 10, our city will experience significant precipitation, with hourly rainfall exceeding 50 mm and 6-hour rainfall exceeding 70 mm. The local rainfall in Fangshan, Mentougou, Shijingshan, Haidian, Changping, Yanqing, Huairou, Miyun, Pinggu and other places will exceed 100 mm. Mountainous and shallow mountainous areas may experience secondary disasters such as mountain torrents, mud-rock flows, and landslides induced by heavy precipitation, and low-lying areas may experience waterlogging.
