After receiving the report, our criminal investigation brigade and Chongwen police station immediately dispatched police to deal with the situation, and contacted fire, medical and other relevant departments to carry out rescue. The case was accepted on the same day and comprehensive investigation and evidence collection work was carried out.

After investigation, on the afternoon of August 4, 2024, Wang Mouyang (female, 16 years old) was dissatisfied with Wang Mouru due to emotional problems. After asking Wang Mouru out, she insulted and beat Wang Mouru in Shashangtou Community, Jushan Park, and on the bridge near the East Hospital of the People's Hospital in Chongwen Town, Lingchuan County, and forced her to tell the password of her mobile phone album. Wang Mouru refused and then climbed over the guardrail and jumped off the bridge and was injured.

Currently, the victim, Wang Mouru, is receiving treatment in the hospital. All nine people at the scene were brought to justice within 24 hours after the incident. The public security organ has taken criminal compulsory measures against the suspect, Wang Mouyang, in accordance with the law on August 5, and the case is still under further investigation.
