The American Flying Tigers Communication Association is a non-profit organization officially registered in California. Over the years, the association has insisted on passing on the story of General Chennault leading the Flying Tigers and the Chinese military and civilians to jointly fight against Japanese fascism, and promoting friendship between the Chinese and American people.
As a social organization that combines academic, friendship and non-profit nature, the Yunnan Flying Tigers Research Association has carried out long-term exchanges with the American Flying Tigers Communication Association in many aspects.
According to the agreement, the two sides will, on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, promote cultural exchanges between Chinese and American youth by searching, excavating and protecting the Flying Tigers' sites, boost the development of the Flying Tigers' economic industry, tell good Flying Tigers stories and pass on the Flying Tigers spirit.
At the meeting, Zhu Junkun, president of the Yunnan Flying Tigers Research Association, expressed the hope that the two sides could strengthen exchanges and cooperation in broader areas such as humanities, tourism, environmental protection, health care, and youth cultural exchanges, and contribute to the continuous development of Sino-US people-to-people friendship.
"The foundation of Sino-US friendship lies in the people, and the future lies in the youth." Yu Qing, chairman of the American Flying Tigers Communication Association, said that the association attaches great importance to exchanges and cooperation with the research institute, and hopes to use this signing as an opportunity to strengthen communication, build consensus, and promote more interaction and exchanges between young people in the two countries.
