The 33rd World Breastfeeding Week is held, and the theme of this year's event is "Supporting Breastfeeding and Building a Friendly Fertility Environment". In order to spread scientific parenting knowledge and skills and actively build a good atmosphere for the whole society to care about breastfeeding, during the activity week from August 1 to 7, the Xincheng District Women's Planning Center jointly carried out a series of publicity week activities with 12 midwifery institutions and 20 community health service centers (stations) in the area.

Both online and offline efforts were made to promote breastfeeding. The Xincheng District Women's Planning Center held an offline breastfeeding education and consultation activity, and displayed the breastfeeding publicity theme on an electronic display screen. Through in-depth publicity activities in various communities, shopping malls, government agencies and other places, on-site medical staff set up consultation service desks, hung publicity banners, displayed publicity boards, and distributed publicity materials to explain the benefits of breastfeeding to the public and answer the feeding questions raised by mothers, which was welcomed and praised by the public.

We will promote core breastfeeding knowledge to the general public online through WeChat public accounts, and popularize the concept and importance of breastfeeding. In order to continuously improve the maternal and child health service capabilities, we will conduct online training for maternal and child health specialists in community health service centers to enhance the awareness of medical workers in supporting breastfeeding and improve scientific and accurate breastfeeding guidance skills. We will encourage various institutions to carry out various World Breastfeeding Week activities to ensure that they are well organized, arranged, and implemented.
