Red Net Time News August 7th (Correspondent Dong Ling Bai Shi) From July 31st to August 7th, the final of the 25th "Fly to Beijing, Fly to Space" National Youth Aerospace Model Education Competition hosted by the State General Administration of Sports was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi. The model aircraft teenagers from Hengyang No. 17 Middle School (Hengyang Yali School) won frequent successes and achieved remarkable results in this competition, showing the potential and style of Hunan youth in the field of aerospace.
It is reported that Hengyang No. 17 Middle School sent 8 contestants to participate in the competition. With their solid skills and perseverance, they stood out from many strong competitors and won 1 bronze medal, 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 11 winning prizes. Among them, Nie Jiangcheng, a student of the school, won the bronze medal in A2 elementary rubber band powered airplane (middle school boys' group), Chen Cheng won the first prize in A10 water rocket shooting (middle school boys' group), Zhang Yixuan won the second prize in B1 flying wing glider surfing (middle school boys' group), and Li Yuchen and Wang Chenhao won the third prize in B1 flying wing glider surfing (middle school boys' group) respectively.
This final brought together aerospace model elites from all over the country. The competition was extremely fierce, like an "Olympic Games" in the aerospace field. The athletes were like little "Olympic athletes", giving wings to their space dreams.
