Qinghai holds excellent documentary screening event to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China

On August 6, the Qinghai Provincial Radio and Television Bureau held the "Praise China·Light and Shadow Qinghai" excellent documentary show to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the CCTV premiere of the documentary "Protecting China's Water Tower" and "Qinghai·Our National Park (Season 2)" in Xining. The event aims to fully demonstrate the hard work and enthusiastic practice of various industries in the province to comprehensively promote the construction of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese-style modernization, and create a strong atmosphere of celebration.

This event selected 40 excellent documentaries from Qinghai from 1981 to the present for exhibition, including classics such as "The Temptation of Tibet", "Children of Geladandong", "Waves of Qinghai Lake", etc., as well as masterpieces that reflect the main theme of the times and have a distinct spirit of innovation in recent years, such as "Code 221", "Walking the World - Qinghai", "Three Thousand Miles in One Foot", "Growth Diary of Black-necked Crane", etc. These documentaries will be broadcasted on CCTV-9, CCTV-2, Shanghai Dragon TV, Beijing TV, Zhejiang TV, Shandong TV and more than 10 other national provincial and municipal broadcasting institutions, as well as radio and television broadcasting institutions at all levels in Qinghai Province and their affiliated new media, and translated into Amdo Tibetan and Kham Tibetan and broadcasted simultaneously in Tibetan-related areas across the country.
It is worth mentioning that more than 20 documentaries will be centrally broadcasted in the "Praise China·Light and Shadow Qinghai" documentary exhibition column on online platforms such as Youku Video and Tencent Video. In addition, documentaries such as "Qinghai·Our National Park (Season 2)", "Protecting China's Water Tower" and "Traveling Around the World-Qinghai" have also been translated into Russian versions and broadcast through the MC Russian satellite channel of China Radio and Television International Network Co., Ltd., covering 7 European countries such as Russia and Belarus and 8 Asian countries such as Kazakhstan and Mongolia, a total of 15 Russian-speaking countries, further expanding the international influence of Qinghai documentaries.
The event also held a ceremony to present outstanding documentaries to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and released a list of films to be screened. The CCTV premiere press conferences for the documentaries "Protecting China's Water Tower" and "Qinghai: Our National Park (Season 2)" were also held on the same day.The two documentaries will premiere on CCTV Documentary Channel on August 8 and August 13 respectively.The former comprehensively demonstrates the vivid practice of people of all ethnic groups and workers from all walks of life in Qinghai in protecting the "Chinese Water Tower", while the latter focuses on Kunlun Mountain National Park, Qinghai Lake National Park, and Qilian Mountain National Park, showing the fruitful results of Qinghai's efforts to promote the construction of a national park province.
Zhang Xinwen, director of the Qinghai Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, said that the 40 documentaries on display this time have four distinct characteristics: multiple perspectives, ingenious production, profound connotations and wide dissemination. They are not only a comprehensive display of the achievements of Qinghai's ecological civilization construction, but also a vivid interpretation of the ecological concept of "Green water and green mountains are gold and silver mountains." He emphasized that these documentaries will become a "bridge" connecting domestic and foreign audiences, allowing the world to see a more real, three-dimensional and comprehensive China.
