Changsha High-speed Railway New City will be built into an international hub gateway in the central region, a model for foreign exchange and cooperation in the free trade zone, and a sub-center for livable leisure and innovative vitality. Recently, the pre-approval public notice of the revision of the control detailed plan of the High-speed Railway New City area was released by the Changsha Natural Resources and Planning Bureau.
In terms of the planning area, it is located within the Changsha High-speed Railway Exhibition New City, west to the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, south to Xiangfu East Road, east and north to the district (county) boundary, with a total land area of 17.93 square kilometers. The research area is east to Liuyang River, north to Xiangfu East Road, west and south to Yangmei Road and Yangzi Road, with a land area of 0.93 square kilometers.
As for the primary and secondary schools that everyone is concerned about, the area is planned to have 26 schools, including 15 primary schools, 4 nine-year schools, 6 junior high schools, and 1 high school. There are 812 classes in primary schools, 474 classes in junior high schools, and 60 classes in high schools in total. The total land area is 93.86 hectares.
Xiaoxiang Morning News reporter found that the planned primary schools include Shazitang Lijun Primary School, Litang Primary School, Shazitang Qixin Primary School, Charm Primary School East Campus, Changsha Gate Primary School, etc. It is worth noting that the N03-E151 (Changsha Gate) plot is planned to be sold in the third quarter. The middle schools include Bianshan Middle School, Hefeng Middle School, Yali Yuhua Middle School, Nanya Bilingual Middle School, etc. The nine-year schools include Chuanhe School, No. 1 Middle School Dongshan School, Houzhao Dongshan School, and Tanyang School.
The latest information shows that the junior high school of Changsha No. 1 Middle School Dongshan School in the area has been completed, with 36 classes planned to provide 1,800 places. The primary school has completed land exchange and is about to start subsequent construction and is expected to be put into use next year.
According to the public information, the planning clearly defines the functional positioning of the area as: a hub gateway for the central region facing the world, a model for foreign exchange and cooperation in the free trade zone, and a sub-center for livable leisure and innovative vitality, taking into account its own development conditions, regional development trends and development opportunities, and implementing the requirements of the higher-level planning. The planned population of the area is about 375,000, and the capacity population is about 430,000.
The total land area of this planning is 1793.48 hectares, of which 1558.74 hectares are for urban construction and 96.89 hectares are for regional infrastructure. It is worth noting that the residential land area is 497.95 hectares, accounting for 31.95% of the urban construction land area.
In the future, the area will form a trunk road network skeleton of "seven horizontal and five vertical". The seven horizontal roads are Jiangrong Road, Airport Expressway, Laodong Road, Qutang Road, Xiang Road, Changtuo Road, and Xiangfu Road. The five vertical roads are Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Xinhuahou Road, Yuhua Avenue, Gaotang Road, and East Fourth Line.
In addition, the area also plans to build four hospitals, including China National Nuclear Corporation Changsha Cancer Hospital, Lituo Street Health Service Center 1, Lituo Street Health Service Center 2, and Houzhao Hospital.
