Beijing News (Reporter Wu Mengzhen, Intern Zhang Haowen) On August 6, a large-scale concert was held at the Beijing National Stadium Bird's Nest. Many audiences arrived early and entered the venue smoothly. Multiple departments of the Beijing Public Security Bureau also carried out safety management and service guarantees on site. It is reported that since this summer, the Beijing police have ensured the safe and smooth holding of more than 190 concerts, football matches, exhibitions and other large-scale events in the city, enriching the cultural life of citizens during the summer vacation.

Wang Erdi, captain of the Large Events Management Brigade of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau's Public Security Management Corps, told the Beijing News that since the beginning of this year, large-scale events in Beijing including concerts, sports events, exhibitions, etc. have been running at a high level. So far, the Bird's Nest has hosted nearly 30 large-scale concerts.

Wang Erdi said that in order to do a good job in related security work, the public security organs have implemented the "one venue, one policy" safety work template with Wukesong Sports Center, National Sports Center, Capital Sports Center, National Stadium, and Workers' Sports Center as pilots. For venues that often hold events, all security facilities are brought into the venues, that is, the venues are responsible for implementing infrastructure such as isolation fences and security inspection equipment, and the main organizers are responsible for providing service hardware. One-time purchase and multiple use will reduce costs and effectively reduce the burden on event organizers. In addition, the approval of events has also been optimized from the previous offline submission of materials to a one-stop online service.

Zhang Lu, Section Chief of the Service Command Division of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau's Public Security Traffic Management Bureau, said that since the summer vacation, there have been a lot of large-scale events, and the traffic pressure is relatively high. Before the event, the Municipal Public Security Traffic Management Bureau and the local traffic detachment will release traffic publicity and guidance information through the media platform. After the event, police forces will be deployed on major roads to pay attention to the diversion of people and vehicles and the maintenance of order. During the concert at the Bird's Nest, the main organizers, ticketing companies, etc. were guided to reasonably plan the flow of people and vehicles during the entrance process. The ticketing APP accurately guided the audience to enter from the nearest gate area, and informed the list of prohibited and restricted items in advance, and added guidance signs on site. During the dispersal process, the venue gate area and passages were opened to the maximum extent for evacuation, and crowd diversion lines were set up on the main exit routes to ensure the smooth exit of the audience.
