On the evening of August 6th, Beijing time, in the group stage of the 2024 Valorant Global Championship, TH defeated GEN 2-1 and DRX defeated FNC 2-0. TH and DRX advanced to the quarterfinals first.

DRX advanced first in Group A of the championship, and FNC will compete with the winner between BLG and KRU for the last qualifying spot in the group.
