On August 6, the "World Games Chengdu-Hong Kong" themed train departed from Chengdu to Hong Kong, bringing the best wishes of the "Land of Abundance" to the "Pearl of the Orient" and showcasing the beautiful vision of Chengdu and Hong Kong joining hands to welcome the World Games.
Before the theme train departed, the reporter interviewed several guests on the platform. Among them were athletes, corporate employees, inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, and gold medal museum guides. Although they had different identities, they had only one purpose for this trip - to showcase Sichuan's profound cultural heritage and sports spirit.

Freestyle roller skating is a strong sport in Sichuan Province and also one of the World Games events. "I am very happy to be able to perform in Hong Kong, because many people don't know about our sport. I hope to introduce this sport to everyone through the performance."
"We have prepared 'Panda Glutinous Rice Balls' for more than 100 people." While waiting for the train to depart, Zheng Qiujie, inheritor of the time-honored craftsmanship of Lai Tangyuan Food Factory of Chengdu Catering Company, was full of anticipation. She said that Chengdu and Hong Kong are both world-renowned food capitals, and she hopes to communicate more with Hong Kong gourmets about their respective unique food cultures and jointly promote the inheritance and development of Chinese food culture.
Li Lihong, general manager of Chengdu Daronghe Hotel Co., Ltd., also wants to promote Sichuan cuisine to the world: "Sichuan cuisine is the specialty of Sichuan. At the World Games next year, Chengdu will welcome guests from all over the world. I hope they can taste Sichuan cuisine, experience Chengdu cuisine, and also feel the hospitality of Chengdu."
Culture is also a bridge for communication between the two places, and among the guests visiting Hong Kong this time are the museum’s gold medal tour guides.
Pan Xihan, a tour guide from Sanxingdui Museum, will participate in a series of cultural exchange activities between Chengdu and Hong Kong during the "World Games Chengdu-Hong Kong Tour". He mentioned, "During this trip, we will introduce the overview of Sanxingdui Museum, its exhibition features, and the latest excavation results to Hong Kong compatriots, so that the guests can appreciate the unique ancient Shu culture."
"I want to promote Tianfu culture to Hong Kong and around the world, so that more people can understand Chengdu and Chinese civilization." Yu Xin, a tour guide at the Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum, held up a "Sun Bird" sign and said to reporters: "Culture is a very good bridge. We welcome everyone to the Chengdu World Games to feel the charm of sports and to the Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum to explore the past and present of Chengdu."
After arriving in Hong Kong, the guests will attend the Chengdu World Games Hong Kong Promotion Event at the Hong Kong landmark, Sky100 Observation Deck, on August 7, showcasing the beautiful vision of Chengdu and Hong Kong working together to welcome the World Games.
