In order to enrich the children's holiday life, promote their physical and mental health development, and further pay attention to, participate in and support the Olympics, the New Era Civilization Practice Center of Xintan Town, Sheyang County, recently launched the "Children's Heart Builds Dreams and Enjoys the Olympics" theme event in conjunction with the New Era Civilization Practice Stations of Xin'an Village, Silie Village and Xinji Village.
At the beginning of the activity, volunteers introduced the origin, development and connotation of the Olympic movement to the children through vivid explanations and interactive questions and answers. The children listened with great interest and not only learned a lot about the Olympics, but also had a deeper understanding of the sportsmanship of fair competition and respect for opponents. Afterwards, volunteers led the children to watch the wonderful videos of the Olympic Games. "Go Olympics!" "Go China!"... The tender and pleasant voices of children were constantly heard in the practice center.
In the creative painting session, the children carefully sketched the lines and solemnly wrote down their blessings for the 2024 Paris Olympics and all the contestants on the paintings. They wrote encouraging words with their tender brushstrokes, such as "Go China" and "You are the best!"... These blessings gathered into a warm force, conveying their deep understanding and inheritance of the Olympic spirit of peace, friendship and progress.
Finally, the volunteers led the children to carry out a colorful and interesting sports meeting. The sports events included kangaroo jumping, obstacle course, and three-legged race. The children actively participated and the atmosphere was lively. They not only exercised their bodies in sports, but also cultivated teamwork spirit and competitive consciousness.
This Olympic-themed event not only allows children to learn in joy, but also allows patriotism and national pride to take root in their hearts.
