On August 6, the launch conference of the first original music documentary program "Music Fate Plan" jointly produced by Jiangsu Satellite TV and iQiyi was held at Nanjing Sifang Art Museum. The eight singers who participated in the recording of the program, including Xue Zhiqian, Zhou Shen, Shan Yichun, Huang Zihongfan, Liu Duanduan, Zhou Bichang, Liu Yuning, and Wang Linkai, all appeared at the event. The program will be broadcast on Jiangsu Satellite TV and iQiyi every Sunday at 21:00 starting from August 11.
As the first original music documentary program in China, "Music Fate Plan" has invited singers such as Xue Zhiqian, Zhang Liangying, Zhou Shen, Shan Yichun, Huang Zihongfan, and other singers. It has also invited music veterans such as Xiao Ke, Fang Wenshan, Xu Huanliang, Huang Guolun, and many new generation original musicians to join. The program will be recorded in three sessions at the MGM Theater in Macau, China. The program consists of two core parts: the song battle and the premiere stage. It uses an encounter between singers and songs to provide singers and original musicians with a stage for free co-creation and create a new highlight moment for the Chinese music scene.
Wang Xi, Director of Jiangsu Satellite TV, said in his speech that the "Music Fate Project" is a self-made cross-screen music variety show that Jiangsu Satellite TV has prepared for many years and has gathered the efforts of all parties. The program uses original music as the anchor point and adopts the pairing mode that the team is best at, allowing Chinese singers and original musicians to pair up and sing good songs, creating a series of adventures between singers and songs. "We look forward to witnessing the birth and singing of more excellent works here, so that music can continue to warm people's hearts, unite people's hearts, and inspire people's hearts with its unique charm and power, and help the development of the Chinese music scene."
In order to let the guests get into the role in advance, the press conference held an interactive session of "Music Fate Challenge". Xue Zhiqian, Zhou Shen, Shan Yichun, Huang Zihongfan, Liu Duanduan, Zhou Bichang, Liu Yuning and Wang Linkai randomly drew a red line of "Music Fate", and the other end of the red line was connected to the "Music Fate" task. Then, famous scenes appeared: Zhou Shen sang while hitting balloons to cheer for the Olympic athletes; Huang Zihongfan sang love songs while playing the role of a boss; Shan Yichun invited everyone present to dance "Pure Sister" together; Zhou Bichang sang while bouncing a ping-pong ball... The singers showed their excellent singing skills and strong improvisation ability.
