On August 2, the rematches of each sub-race of the 2024 China Guandu Second "Caichuang Free Trade" International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were successfully held.

The competition is guided by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, hosted by the CPC Guandu District Committee of Kunming and the People's Government of Guandu District of Kunming, and undertaken by the Guandu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and other departments.

On July 29, the semi-finals of the competition were first launched in Singapore, with 26 high-quality projects from countries including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries participating in the competition. A judging panel and a supervisory panel consisting of 7 international mentors were present.

On August 2, the domestic project semi-finals were held at Yunnan (Kunming Guandu) International Human Resources Service Industrial Park. The judges included Li Xia, former director of the Yunnan Employment Bureau and chairman of the Yunnan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Association, and Wang Xiaai, deputy secretary-general of the Yunnan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Association, as well as 10 senior mentors and investors.

The 90 contestants who entered the semi-finals gave presentations on market development, team situation, technological innovation, financial status and other aspects. The contestants gave their all and the atmosphere on the scene was warm and exciting.

After fierce competition, 32 projects from the three tracks of startup group, growth group and international group stood out and successfully advanced to the finals.

The final will be judged in a 6+3+1 mode (6 minutes of project roadshow + 3 minutes of on-site answers and judges' questions + 1 minute of judges' scoring). The judging panel will consist of 5 senior mentors and senior venture capital judges. At that time, domestic and foreign players will gather in Guandu District, Kunming City to challenge for the championship. Let us look forward to this peak battle of innovation and entrepreneurship!
