(referred to as: Xinxiangyun Phosphorus 1.8 million tons of ore dressing project) innovatively introduced the WGT-D3 CNC five-head hoop bending machine, which is a new process used for the first time within Wukuang 23rd Metallurgical Construction Co., Ltd. According to calculations, the application of this process can achieve a major breakthrough in the daily processing of steel bar raw materials from 1 to 10 tons, helping the project to seize nodes and ensure construction period.

In late July, the Xinxiangyun Phosphorus Series 1.8 million tons of mineral processing project officially entered the construction stage. In order to ensure the quality and quantity of the construction tasks, the project team actively communicated and coordinated with the owner, Hubei Xiangyun (Group) Chemical Co., Ltd., to divide the mineral processing unit construction area into two sections, east and west, and deploy personnel and increase equipment to achieve synchronous construction of the two sections. At present, the eastern section of the project is carrying out the foundation and foundation construction of the 35KV substation area. The western section not only includes deep foundation pit construction, but also the installation of equipment such as crushers and screening machines, as well as the installation and commissioning of pipelines, electrical, instrumentation and other processes, with complex procedures. In order to complete the construction tasks on time, the project department innovatively introduced the WGT-D3 CNC five-head hoop bending machine.
Hydraulic system with ±1mm error finishing, five-head one-time four-angle bending production, programmable controller for quick control, highly mechanized and intelligent CNC operation... A WGT-D3 CNC five-head hoop bending machine works 8 to 10 hours a day and can process up to 10 tons of 8 to 18 mm coil, round coil and spiral steel bars. Two people and one machine can complete the workload of 20 to 30 steel bar workers in the past. It occupies a small area, has high production efficiency, is easy to operate, saves labor costs, and can greatly shorten the steel bar processing cycle.
It is reported that the Sinochem Xinxiangyun New Materials Project is a key livelihood project in Hubei Province, covering an area of about 4,350 mu, and is divided into three major sectors: phosphorus chemical industry, fluorine chemical industry, and coal chemical industry. The Xinxiangyun Phosphorus Series 1.8 million tons of ore dressing project undertaken by the Second Company of Wukuang 23rd Metallurgical Construction Co., Ltd. is a sub-project of the phosphorus chemical sector of the first phase of the project, covering an area of about 100,000 square meters and a construction area of nearly 23,400 square meters. The construction content includes more than ten sub-items such as the ore yard, crushing building, screening building, and 1#~9# trestle. It is expected to be completed and put into production on February 28, 2025.
