2024 Fortune Global 500 list announced

The total operating revenue of the companies on this year's Fortune Global 500 list is approximately US$41 trillion, equivalent to one-third of the global GDP, and a slight increase of about 0.1% over last year.The threshold for making the list (minimum sales revenue) increased from US$30.9 billion to US$32.1 billion.The total net profit of all listed companies increased by 2.3% year-on-year to approximately US$2.97 trillion.

The reason why turnover is used as the standard is that compared with other indicators such as profit and market value, turnover is less likely to be affected by financing activities and industry taxes, and is more useful as a reference, and its value is evident.
