Red Net Time News August 6th(Photo by reporter Yang Liu, Wang Heng, and Qin Lou) On the morning of August 6, 23 trainees who participated in the "Malawi News Reporting Training Class" in Hunan came to Hunan Rednet New Media Group Co., Ltd. They visited the specific work scenes of the editorial center, international communication center, government affairs center and other departments, and learned in detail about Rednet's all-media communication characteristics and development priorities.
As the flagship of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, Rednet has witnessed and practiced the development of China's Internet. It has formed a "net, newspaper, terminal, micro-video" communication matrix and has a large group of loyal users. In particular, Rednet has an early layout, fast transformation, and good results in media integration, and is at the forefront of the country.
Shadrake Stephen Chikoti, media writing supervisor at the Malawi Presidential Palace, said during the visit that the development of new media is an irresistible trend and that this study and investigation at Rednet has provided a lot of reference for Malawi's new media transformation.
Ms. Edith Taonga Kambarame, News and Media Director of Malawi National, said: "Hunan media dares to innovate, explore the unknown, put ideas into practice, and make adjustments based on user feedback. The entire media industry is booming. I also like Rednet's 'people-centered' development concept, which collects the voices of the people and helps build a bridge of communication between the government and the people through the media. This is exactly what Malawi needs to learn."
The "Malawi News Reporting Training Course" was hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by Hunan Foreign Trade Vocational College. The event was mainly aimed at implementing the policies and development strategies of my country's foreign aid human resources development cooperation and promoting friendly relations and cooperation between my country and Malawi.
