A total of 133 companies from China (including Taiwan) were on the list, and among them, some Chinese companies in the automobile manufacturing field also made the list.

It is reported that the Chinese automobile and parts companies selected into the Fortune Global 500 (including rankings) are: SAIC (93), FAW Group (129), BYD (143), GAC (181), Geely (185), BAIC (192), Dongfeng (240), CATL (250) and Chery (385), etc.

The report said that this was the first time that Chery entered the Fortune Global 500 list, and among the world's 50 companies with the highest return on equity, Chery ranked 40th with a return on equity of 35%, ranking first among the Chinese automobile companies on the list.

It is reported that among other Chinese automakers, most of them have risen in ranking year-on-year. This year, BYD's ranking has risen by 69 places compared with last year.

The report said that the total operating revenue of the companies on the Fortune Global 500 list this year is about 41 trillion US dollars, equivalent to one-third of the global economy, a slight increase of about 0.1% over last year. The threshold for this list (minimum sales revenue) has increased from 30.9 billion US dollars to 32.1 billion US dollars.
