With less than a month to go before the release of Star Wars: Outlaws, Ubisoft announced the season pass roadmap for the game on its official website today (August 6), and it is expected that more story content will be gradually released within six months after the game is released. The season pass includes two upcoming story packs, which players can also purchase separately. At launch, season pass holders will receive the Kessel Runner character pack, which includes costumes for Kay Vess and her companion Nix, and access to an exclusive mission called "Jabba's Gambit."

Among them, the additional story "Jabba's Gambit" caused quite a bit of controversy because some netizens believed that Jabba, one of the most iconic villains in "Star Wars", required extra payment to unlock. However, Ubisoft quickly clarified this, saying that Jabba is one of the four gang leaders in the basic version of the game and will appear frequently in the main storyline. Although this misunderstanding has been clarified, it still caused people to be disappointed that the first-day content had to be purchased separately.

In addition, the announcement details the contents of two additional new story packs. The first, "Wild Card" (Fall 2024), tells the story of Kay Vess who is hired to infiltrate a high-stakes Shabak tournament, and soon finds out this is no ordinary match after she confronts Lando Calrissian. After the story pack is released, players who purchase the season pass will receive additional costumes for Kay Vess and Nix, and Kay Vess's car and spaceship will also receive new skins.

Another story pack, "A Pirate's Fortune" (Spring 2025), sees Kay meet veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who's looking to settle an old score with a ruthless pirate gang.

"Star Wars: Outlaws" is expected to be released on August 30th, and will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC platforms. Players who purchase the Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition can start playing three days in advance on August 27th.
