Bloomberg's Mark Gurman revealed in the latest Power On real-time communication that Apple has postponed the launch of Apple Intelligence, but the annual flagship iPhone 16 series launch conference will still be held as scheduled.

It was previously revealed that the iPhone 16 series may be released next month. Because according to Apple’s practice, the launch of the new iPhone is held on the 8th day after Labor Day in the United States, and then the release time is estimated to be Tuesday, September 10, and it is estimated to be released on September 20.

According to Mark Gurman, most of the features of Apple Intelligence will be delayed until the official version of iOS/iPadOS 18.1 in October, while the iPhone 16 series will be launched as scheduled in September.

Currently, in the latest iOS 18.1 Beta version, you can already experience a small part of Apple Intelligence functions, such as “call recording”.

After you upgrade to this version, when you use your phone to make a call, a voice recording button will appear in the upper left corner of the cell. Click it to enlarge it and click "Record". The interesting thing is that at this time, the other party you are talking to will hear a prompt tone "This call has started recording."

Then the recording files (.m4a) of both parties and the recording information summary text generated by Apple Intelligence will be stored in the iPhone's memo.

It is worth noting that Apple has not yet announced its Apple Intelligence partners in mainland China, which is very curious.
