Although the final installment of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy has not yet been officially announced, the development team has already revealed a little bit of information about the game. At a recent panel discussion held in Washington, D.C., Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth director Naoki Hamaguchi revealed that the popular card game "Queen's Blood" from Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth will return in the third installment.

"We are currently preparing an improved and even better version of 'Queen's Blood' for the next work," said Naoki Hamaguchi at the discussion meeting.

In "Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth", "Queen's Blood" is a built-in collection card game. Players can collect various cards with different effects, rarities, etc. during the game to build new and improved decks. "Queen's Blood" also has an independent quest line for players to explore.

Development on the final installment of the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy began as early as 2022, and earlier this year, producer Yoshinori Kitase hinted that the development team was aiming for a 2027 release date.
