Fred Calleri was born in 1964 in a family full of artistic atmosphere. He showed a strong interest in colors and shapes since he was a child. However, what really made him decide to embark on the road of art was that he witnessed a shocking oil painting by chance. The interweaving of light and shadow and the expression of emotions in the painting seemed to have magic, which deeply touched his heart. From then on, he aspired to become a painter and use his brush to record the beauty and sorrow of life.

In 1988, with an infinite vision for art, Fred entered the Maryland Institute College of Art in the United States. This institution, known as the cradle of the art world, brings together art elites and talented mentors from all over the world. Here, he not only received systematic training in painting skills, but more importantly, he began to learn how to feel art with his heart and interpret the world with a unique perspective.

During his five years at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Fred experienced a transformation from imitation to innovation, from confusion to determination. He extensively studied various painting schools and techniques, from the rigorous composition of classicism to the free expression of modern art. In this process, he gradually realized that true art is not only a display of skills, but also an expression of emotions and the communication of ideas. So he began to try to integrate his personal emotions and experiences into his paintings, forming an artistic style that is both personal and profound.
