Recently, Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Liangjiang New Area Management Committee and China 4D Surveying and Mapping Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China 4D") jointly signed a landmark strategic cooperation agreement. This cooperation marks a solid step forward for Chongqing in promoting the construction of Digital China and accelerating the development of the aerospace information industry. The three parties will work together to create a new growth pole for commercial aerospace and empower digital Chongqing.

According to the agreement, the three parties will rely on China's Siwei's profound accumulation in the field of remote sensing satellite applications to jointly explore the innovative application of new quality productivity in the aerospace information industry.

China's Siwei plans to establish a spatiotemporal information solution service platform in Chongqing. With satellite Internet applications as the core, it will deeply explore the potential for wide application of spatiotemporal data in many fields such as natural resource management, digital government affairs, smart cities, smart water conservancy, smart agriculture, smart forestry, environmental protection, disaster prevention and mitigation, and emergency management, injecting strong impetus into the construction of Digital Chongqing.

This cooperation not only makes up for the shortcomings of Chongqing in the main enterprise link of the remote sensing satellite chain in the satellite application "communication, navigation and remote sensing" system, but will also effectively promote the optimization and upgrading of Chongqing's industrial structure and promote the clustered development of the aerospace information industry. The implementation of the China 4D project will not only drive the gathering of upstream and downstream enterprises in the relevant industrial chain, but also provide strong support for Chongqing to hold high-end events such as the International Ecological Conference on the Aerospace Information Industry, and further enhance Chongqing's influence in the global aerospace information industry.

Next, Chongqing Development and Reform Commission will work with Liangjiang New Area and relevant municipal departments to provide all-round policy support and efficient services for the China 4D project to ensure the smooth progress and rapid development of the project. At the same time, it will focus on the aerospace information industry represented by spatiotemporal information application services, jointly create a central-local cooperation demonstration project, and build an aerospace information industry highland.
