2023 BYD Denza N7 pushes version 1.2 OTA: added traffic light countdown, etc.

According to IT Home on August 3, BYD pushed version 1.2 of the OTA for the 2023 Denza N7, mainly adding two new functions such as red light countdown and three optimizations.


IT Home attaches the main updates as follows:

  • Added traffic light countdown function to make travel smoother;

  • Newly added support for mobile phone NFC car key voice guidance, making operation easier;

  • Optimize the volume range of smart announcements, which can be adjusted in "Vehicle Settings-Smart Reminders";

  • Optimize the mobile phone wireless charging reminder function, remove the wireless charging animation, and only display the charging status in the status bar;

  • Optimize the co-pilot rhythm function.

It should be noted that this update is applicable to 23 Denza N7 models without the optional high-end intelligent driving package and high-speed intelligent driving package, and will be pushed nationwide from now on. 23 Denza N7 models with the optional high-end intelligent driving package and high-speed intelligent driving package, the new Denza N7 model has been upgraded before.


The 2023 BYD Denza N7 pure electric SUV was launched in July last year, with an official guide price starting at RMB 301,800. The entire series is equipped with a 91.392kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack as standard.The CLTC range is 630/702km respectively

In terms of interior, the BYD N7 is equipped with six screens, namely a 17.3-inch central control screen, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, a 10.25-inch co-pilot entertainment screen, AR-HUD and double-sided smart air vent displays.
