As an FPS game that has been on the market for four years, Riot's "Valorant" has accumulated a huge fan base, and its competitions have become quite mature and rich.

Valorant is based on solid FPS competitive elements and integrates character skill gameplay, so it is inevitable that some players always compare Valorant between Counter-Strike and Overwatch. Recently, Arnar Hrafn Gylfason, Riot's production director and Valorant product manager, talked about the relevant topic in an interview with GamesRadar.

“It’s easy for players to compare them because at first glance Valorant is a tactical FPS game with all kinds of heroes,” Gylfason said. “But I think that’s just a very superficial comparison. Valorant definitely has its own style and identity. We don’t like to be compared to other games... I think it’s unfair to other games, and it’s also unfair to Valorant.”

Today, "Valorant" has been officially launched on PS5 and XSX|S consoles.
