IT Home reported on August 3 that Motorola launched a Moto Tag Bluetooth tracker on June 26 this year. Today, the official announced that this tracker is officially available overseas, with two colors of "Starlight Blue" and "Holy Land Green" available. The prices are as follows:

  • Single tracker: 29 USD (IT Home Note: Currently about 208 RMB)

  • Four trackers: US$99 (currently about RMB 711)

According to reports, Moto Tag uses Google's "Find My Device" system to track location while ensuring privacy and security. It is said that under ideal conditions, it can be used for up to a year on a button battery.

In addition, Moto Tag adopts a universal size of 3.2 x 3.2 x 0.8 cm, which means it is compatible with the protective cases of most trackers on the market (including Apple AirTag), giving users more choices.

In recent years, Bluetooth trackers have become popular for their convenience in helping users find lost items, but the security risks that come with them are also worrying. Tracking and theft have always been security issues that plague such products. According to previous reports, Tile, a well-known tracker manufacturer, was hacked not long ago, making security issues once again the focus of industry attention.
