IT Home reported on August 3 that the source @MysteryLupin tweeted on the X platform today:It is reported that Google Pixel 9 series phones will be equipped with a new 45W charger, but users will need to purchase it separately.

Google currently sells a 30W charger for its Pixel series phones, which costs $25 on the Google Store (IT Home Note: currently about RMB 181). The latest 45W charger brings faster charging and is estimated to cost between $30 and $35 (currently about RMB 254).

According to the exposed renderings, the 45W charger adopts a round pill-shaped design, and the USB-C port is also moved from the side to the bottom of the charger, making it more convenient to use in small spaces such as bedside tables.

Judging by the plug, the picture of this particular adapter is of the EU model, but the main design shouldn't change for other regions.
