The People's Procuratorate of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture charged that from 2005 to 2023, the defendant Chen Liping used her positions as director of the Tongren City Central Office, party secretary and director of the City Price Bureau, and party secretary and director of the City Tourism Development Committee toDeputy Director of the General Office of Guizhou Provincial Party CommitteeHe took advantage of his position and other convenient conditions, and used his power or status to provide assistance to relevant personnel in matters such as project contracting, fund allocation, and company management, and illegally accepted property totaling more than RMB 6 million.From October 2019 to September 2021, Chen Liping asked others for help in order to obtain job transfers and promotions for her and her husband, and gave others a total of RMB 695,000.The procuratorate proposed that Chen Liping be held criminally responsible for the crimes of accepting bribes and offering bribes.

During the trial, the procuratorate presented relevant evidence, the defendant Chen Liping and her defense counsel conducted cross-examination, the prosecution and defense fully expressed their opinions under the auspices of the court, and Chen Liping made a final statement.He pleaded guilty in courtThe case will be sentenced at a later date.

On October 27, 2023, it was reported that Chen Liping was investigated; on April 24 this year, it was reported that she was "double-opened."

Upon investigation,Chen Liping lost her ideals and beliefs, betrayed her original aspiration and mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, engaged in political cronyism, and participated in superstitious activities; she ignored the spirit of the Central Committee's eight regulations and accepted gifts and cash in violation of regulations; she had no organizational principles, abandoned the bottom line of integrity, and violated regulations and discipline to seek job benefits; she had no respect for the Party's discipline and the country's laws, used her position to seek benefits for others in project contracting and business operations, and illegally accepted huge amounts of property; in order to seek improper benefits, she gave property to state employees.

Chen Liping has seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline and discipline on integrity, constituted serious violations of duty and was suspected of bribery and bribery, and did not stop after the 18th CPC National Congress. The nature of her violations is serious and the impact is bad, and she should be dealt with seriously. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China", "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", "Administrative Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China for Public Officials", etc., after the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection discussed and reported to the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee for approval, it was decided to expel Chen Liping from the Party; the Provincial Supervision Commission shall expel her from public office; confiscate her illegal gains; and transfer her suspected criminal issues to the procuratorate for examination and prosecution in accordance with the law, and transfer the relevant property together.

Public information shows that Chen Liping, female, was born in June 1966, is of the Han nationality and has a postgraduate degree from the Provincial Party School.

Chen Liping has served as deputy secretary-general of the Tongren Municipal Party Committee, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of the Tongren Municipal Government Affairs Management Bureau, and director (chief) of the Tongren Municipal Government Affairs Management Bureau (Public Property Management Office).

In June 2018, Chen Liping was announced as the deputy director of the General Office of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee (with a one-year probation period)., until being investigated.

Two months before Chen Liping was investigated，On August 28, 2023, it was reported that Sun Zhigang, former Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, was investigated.
