The layout is unconventional and the form is flexible and changeable. When the central furniture in the living room - the sofa - jumps out, the relationship between the living room and people naturally becomes free and full of vitality.

This year, Hannes Peer, an architect and designer from South Tyrol and a frequent guest on major architecture and design media lists, brought Yves to Minotti, a model of Italian manufacturing - a seating system with a dual soul and an atypical sofa landscape.

A fusion of solemnity and restraint with agility and winding, external form and practical function, Yves is an ideal integrator of rational volume structure and organic shape configuration.

The fluid form of the integrated seat creates an attractive geometric depth and a cozy curved layout: like a bay, Yves’s open space can accommodate a small table or an ottoman to adapt to the ever-changing contemporary life and interpersonal interactions.

The backrest supports the curve of the seat, forming a gap in the segmented "architecture", so that the continuous arrangement of Yves' different modules does not appear monotonous at all. This continuous change is visually harmonious and unified through Minotti's special custom craftsmanship.

In addition, the customized craftsmanship details also make Yves look fuller. The asymmetrical stitching not only matches the position of the aluminum feet, but also gives the sofa a sense of rhythm.

The Yves dynamic portfolio also includes two different types of seats: one is a one-piece seat, which makes Yves look more modern and stylish; the other is a seat with a cushion, which has a more traditional style.

Yves, designed by Hannes Peer, perfectly interprets the comfort, aesthetics and functionality of Minotti’s design language. With its asymmetrical and vivid form, it can easily adapt to various spaces and environments, reflecting Minotti’s timeless taste.

Minotti X Hannes Peer

"Diversity" is one of the core concepts of Hannes Peer's work, representing his comprehensive exploration of architecture, history and cutting-edge technology. The poetic vision is perfectly intertwined with rigorous design principles, and the contemporary, traditional and modern languages blend harmoniously, defining the aesthetic style of Hannes Peer's studio. Hannes Peer also incorporates his passion for quality and craftsmanship into the 2024 series created in collaboration with Minotti.
