【Pacific Technology News】Recently, Apple's latest developer preview version iOS 18.1 Beta was released, bringing the call recording function online, but it is only available for iPhone 15 Pro/Max users. During a call, users can tap the "Record" button in the upper left corner of the call interface to record the call content and text records, but they will receive a voice prompt "This call will be recorded" before recording. After the call recording is completed, the recording will be automatically saved to the Notes app, and Apple Intelligence will automatically generate a summary of the recording information to help users quickly grasp the key information in the call.

Phone call transcription is available in multiple languages, including English (US, UK, Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore), Spanish (US, Mexico, Spain), French (France), German (Germany), Japanese (Japan), Mandarin (China mainland, Taiwan), Cantonese (China mainland, Hong Kong), and Portuguese (Brazil).

The iOS 18.1 Beta update also includes visual feedback and continuous conversation capabilities brought by the new version of Siri; the Mail app adds smart summaries and pinning of time-critical emails; the Messages app supports smart replies; Focus Modes helps focus on important notifications; the Photos app enhances memory functions and video search capabilities.
