The second expansion pack for Starfield may be called Starborn. The company was found to have registered a trademark for the name this month.

Twitter user Timur222 discovered that Bethesda registered this trademark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office this month for use in video game software.

Starborn refers to a group of people who will reveal themselves to the player after the player has collected enough artifacts in the main story of "Starfield". This group of people are humans who travel between universes through portals.

Starfield’s first major story DLC, Broken Space, will be released later this year, and in terms of scale, game director Todd Howard compared it to Fallout 4’s expansion pack, Far Harbor.

Howard also recently said that he hopes to release a new story expansion pack for Starfield every year.
