Public information shows that Wang Jianzhong, male, was born in February 1965 in Lai'an County. He joined the Communist Party of China in May 1986 and holds a master's degree in agricultural extension.

He had served as the mayor of Nanqiao District. In July 2004, he served as deputy secretary and acting county mayor of Quanjiao County. In February 2005, he served as secretary of the Quanjiao County Party Committee. In May 2010, he served as deputy mayor of Chuzhou City. In January 2014, he served as member of the Standing Committee of Chuzhou Municipal Party Committee and deputy mayor. In August 2016, he served as member of the Standing Committee of Chuzhou Municipal Party Committee and secretary-general.

In January 2018, he served as Party Secretary and Chairman of Chuzhou CPPCC.On May 18 this year, Wang Jianzhong still participated in the event as the chairman of the Chuzhou CPPCC.

The Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision’s report shows thatWang Jianzhong had been dismissed from his post before being investigated.

On July 8 this year, Kong Xiaohong, former deputy secretary-general of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was sentenced to nine years in prison for bribery.He served as deputy secretary of the Chuzhou Municipal Party Committee from 2013 to 2015.

On May 23 this year, it was reported that Miao Xuegang, director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was investigated.He served as mayor of Chuzhou from 2004 to 2009.
