IT Home reported on July 27 that blogger @i冰宇宙 revealed on the X platform today that Samsung's upcoming One UI 7 will significantly improve the shooting performance of the Galaxy S24 Ultra phone. The improvement mainly focuses on the main camera and telephoto lens of the mobile phone, which is expected to improve the clarity of the relevant lens output

The blogger also mentioned that Samsung did not choose to bring relevant improvements in the One UI 6.1.1 incremental update to be launched next month, but instead made a separate update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra in One UI 7. This is because the company is currently carrying out a series of camera optimizations for the phone.

IT Home also attached the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra photography hardware information as follows:

The phone continues the previous generation's island-style lens design with a quad-lens specification. Samsung replaced the S23 Ultra's 10MP 10x zoom camera with a 50MP 5x zoom (telephoto) camera, which can achieve 10x zoom through lossless cropping zoom.

The hardware of the other four cameras has not changed from last year's S23 Ultra, including a 200-megapixel f/1.7 main camera, a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, as well as a front-facing 12-megapixel selfie camera.
