Guizhou Xijiu, which was accused of delaying the disclosure of its half-year results, announced the completion status of related work.

On the evening of July 25, a reporter from the Nanduwan Finance-New Consumption Index Research Group of Liquor Industry noticed from the WeChat official account of Guizhou Xijiu that the company had held an economic operation analysis meeting for the first half of 2024 and analyzed the relevant operations of Xijiu. At the meeting, Guizhou Xijiu stated that it had successfully completed the established goals for the first half of this year, but the reporter from Nanduwan Finance found that the company did not disclose relevant sales data.

According to a reporter from Nanduwan Finance, Guizhou Xijiu disclosed its half-year sales data in both 2022 and 2023. In mid-June 2022, Guizhou Xijiu disclosed in a "Thank You Letter" that its half-year sales revenue had exceeded 10 billion yuan; and in early July 2023, the company said it achieved sales revenue of 11.6 billion yuan. This year, in addition to not disclosing specific sales data for the first half of the year, Guizhou Xijiu also released its half-year task completion status later than in previous years.

Regarding the specific data, a reporter from Nanduwan Finance contacted relevant persons from Guizhou Xijiu, who said that the relevant information should be based on the text on (WeChat public account).

However, some industry insiders predict that the relevant management of Xijiu had previously guaranteed to the competent authorities a target of a 10% year-on-year increase. Based on this calculation, Guizhou Xijiu's sales revenue in the first half of this year may reach around 12.76 billion yuan.

When Xijiu announced that it had completed its first half of the year, the company had experienced several rounds of fluctuations in the first half of this year. At the end of April this year, Zhang Deqin, the "top leader" of Guizhou Xijiu, was transferred to Guizhou Moutai to serve as chairman and other positions; then in June this year, the major shareholder changed; more importantly, after Zhang Deqin was transferred, Guizhou Xijiu, which was upgraded to a provincial-level large-scale enterprise, had not yet decided on the "top leader" of the company.

It is worth noting that during the past six months, the product pricing system of Guizhou Xijiu has been hit to a certain extent. According to continuous observations by reporters from Nanduwan Finance, its main products, Junpin Xijiu, Jiucang 1988 and Jinzuan Xijiu, have all experienced price declines to varying degrees.

According to a report by a reporter from Nanduwan Finance in early June this year, during the visit, the terminal retail prices of Guizhou Xijiu's Junpin Xijiu and Jiucang 1988 were both falling, with Junpin Xijiu ranging from 830 yuan to 940 yuan, and Jiucang 1988 ranging from 420 yuan to 520 yuan; then in the 618 promotion, Junpin Xijiu and Jiucang 1988 further "broke the price", with the selling prices falling to a minimum of 720 yuan/bottle and 340 yuan/bottle respectively, which was inverted from the wholesale price.

During the past six months, Guizhou Xijiu has frequently made moves around the issue of "price".

For example, in April this year, the company shipped goods to some distributors whose inventory exceeded the red line; at the end of June, the company suspended payment to some distributors; in early July, Guizhou Xijiu canceled the "reverse red envelopes" given to distributors (that is, after consumers scan the red envelope code on the product, distributors and channels can receive monetary rewards), trying to solve the problems of distributors and channels "stealing" red envelopes, as well as the subsequent price reduction of products and selling loose liquor... Guizhou Xijiu has issued this series of measures in the hope of boosting product prices.

However, on the 26th, a reporter from Nanduwan Financial News found during a visit that the prices of Junpin Xijiu and Jiucang 1988 were around 800 yuan/bottle and 410 yuan/bottle respectively.
