Today, World of Warcraft released an announcement on Weibo that the "War for the Core" pre-launch content update will be launched on August 1, and pre-download is now open.

The announcement is as follows:

The pre-launch content update "War for the Core" brings numerous changes, including changes to the Chapter System, Aerial Control, class and system updates, and more. Participate in the new event "Echoes of Glory", take the first step in the legendary chapter of "Soul of the World", and prepare to delve into the unexplored depths of Azeroth's core.

Currently, the pre-download of the eve content update is open. Please download and install the Battle.net desktop application, select "World of Warcraft" in "Preferences", and click the "Install" button in the lower left corner to pre-download.

Warband Assembles

Expand the gaming potential of all your World of Warcraft characters by enabling shared progression across all characters in your Battle.net account, breaking through faction restrictions—including shared War for the Core reputation, Warband Bank, achievements, collections, and more.

Visions of Azeroth

A strange vision calls to the heroes of Azeroth. Level 70 players who have completed the final chapter of the "Age of Dragons" questline will be called to experience the story of "The War to the Core" and explore the first part of the "Visions of Azeroth" questline.

Soaring into the sky

Dragon Control will become a permanent feature available on many flying mounts in flyable areas. Players will also be able to toggle between Air Control (formerly known as Dynamic Flight) and the flight mode first introduced in The Burning Crusade, now known as Steady Flight. Answer the call of glorious echoes

Face the memories of Azeroth during a new pre-event, collect remnants, and purchase new items to expand your Chapter collection.

Location: Dalaran (handover quest), Dragonblight, Dustwallow Marsh, and Searing Gorge

Currency: Remnant Memory - This iridescent powder shimmers with a cunning light, offering a glimpse into half-forgotten memories.
