Reporters learned from the press conference of the 7th China International Import Expo on July 24 that the 7th CIIE has achieved phased results. So far, more than 150 international companies in the corporate business exhibition have signed contracts for the CIIE for seven consecutive years.

Sun Chenghai, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, introduced that the business exhibition of this CIIE will continue to set up six exhibition areas: food and agricultural products, automobiles, technical equipment, consumer goods, medical devices and medical care, and service trade, and strive to create an innovation incubation area. So far, the contracted exhibition area has exceeded 360,000 square meters. The organization of trade delegations and professional visitors has been accelerated, and the progress is faster than the same period last year. It is expected that more professional visitors will participate in the seventh CIIE.

Sun Chenghai said that the seventh CIIE will further explore the potential of exhibitions and displays in the forefront of science and technology, and this year's corporate business exhibition will have some innovations in its exhibition area structure. For example, a new material area was set up for the first time to build an international exchange platform to promote innovation and development in the new material field; the automobile exhibition area will focus on inviting exhibitors in the fields of unmanned driving, low-altitude economy, new energy storage (automobiles), etc., to showcase the key elements of future travel.
