A total of 82 countries, regions and international organizations participated in the conference, with more than 2,000 exhibitors, nearly half of which were overseas companies, covering all countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia.

The South China Expo will last until July 28. Li Fei, Vice Minister of Commerce of China, said: "After more than a decade of development, the South China Expo has become a comprehensive exhibition platform integrating goods trade, investment promotion, tourism cooperation and cultural exchange."

Li Fei said that the exhibition plays the role of "three platforms" every year: policy exchange, commodity trading and investment cooperation.
