Today I want to introduce to you an owner whose home is a top-floor duplex. Every corner of the 200-square-meter space has a huge sloping skylight, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery without going out. The most special thing is the design of his children's room. Not only does it use a combination of storage cabinets and beds, but it also leaves a play area for children under the bed. It's really beautiful and special!

Let’s first take a look at his living room. The design of the sloping wall is very unique. A window is added between the two sloping walls to facilitate ventilation of the room. A movable sofa is also added in front of the window to make full use of the space.

Modular sofas are more convenient to use.

A closer look reveals that his house also has a secondary living room, which is usually used to entertain guests. The stairs next to the sofa can also be used to place items.

Second floor:

The public space upstairs has not only been converted into a study, but also a bed has been hung under the roof. It's so creative! The bookshelf next to it has a unique shape and can hold a lot of books, but the design of the open bookshelf will inevitably collect dust. Lying on the hammock to read books, and looking at the scenery outside through the sloping skylight when tired, it is really enjoyable.

On the other side of the corridor on the second floor is the dressing room, which is equipped with a sliding door, which provides good privacy protection and is convenient to use.

I didn’t expect that the space inside the cloakroom is even bigger. There is a 10-meter-long row of lockers and racks. I never have to worry about having no place to put my clothes and bags all year round!

The master bedroom is located on the inside of the door next to the study in the public area. There is a sloping skylight directly above the bed. This design makes the entire space appear more open and there is no need to worry about privacy issues.

The children's room uses a combination of storage cabinets and beds, and uses wooden brackets to separate the two spaces above and below the bed. The space below the bed is used as a place for children to play. I'm just a little worried that this bed might not be strong enough.

The other side of the children's room is used as a study area. There is also artificial grass under the sloping roof, which is super cute. Did you notice the little bear decoration next to it? Not only does it look beautiful, it can also be used as a shelf.

The bathroom also has a huge sloping skylight. Although no one will peek through the roof, I am still a little worried about privacy. The transparent glass separates the shower area, so there is no need to worry about water splashing and soaking the floor.

But how is this sink designed? Won't water drip down? I think it would be more appropriate to install a drainage device under the sink.

There is a radiator next to the shower area, so you don’t have to worry about the cold when taking a shower in winter!

A house with skylights everywhere can bring natural light to the whole house and also add extra space. If you like this design, you might as well install this kind of sloping skylight in your own home. You will be in a good mood when you look up and see the blue sky and white clouds every day!
