After Capcom said that it would announce the release date of Monster Hunter: Wildlands after the preparations were completed, at the 45th Capcom shareholders meeting recently, a shareholder asked Capcom again: "You have announced that you will release Monster Hunter: Wildlands on PS5, XSX|S and PC platforms, but not on Switch. Will this game not be available on such platforms?"

Capcom said: “We have incorporated the latest technology into this game. The limit of this technology is to show the greatest charm of the Monster Hunter world. Currently, only PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms can achieve this.”

In addition, a shareholder suggested: "I heard that "Monster Hunter: Wilderness" supports cross-platform play, but in order to allow all players to enjoy the game with peace of mind, I hope you can issue an announcement to explain how you will deal with cheating and MOD issues in the game."

Capcom said: "Thank you for your valuable feedback. Monster Hunter: Wildlands does support cross-platform play. Please continue to wait for further details."

In June, Capcom officially announced that the third official trailer of "Monster Hunter: Wildlands" will be released on the opening night of the Cologne Games Show on August 21, so stay tuned!
