IT Home reported on July 23 that HMD started product preheating today and announced that it will release the Crest series of mobile phones in India on July 25, including two models, HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max.

According to the pre-launch details on Amazon India's official website, the HMD Crest smartphone will use a glass back cover, focus on portrait shooting mode and easy repair.

The design of the HMD Crest smartphone is yet to be fully revealed, but judging by the few images available on Amazon, it is expected that the smartphone may feature a circular camera module with a hole cutout on the front for the selfie camera.

Running points

IT Home checked public information and found that HMD Crest has now appeared in the GeekBench benchmark database. The single-core score of version 6.3.0 is 689 points and the multi-core score is 2082 points.

The HMD Crest phone is equipped with 8GB of RAM and the motherboard is codenamed "Arrow". Judging from the specifications, it may be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor.
