IT Home reported on July 23 that YouTube anchor M.Brandon Lee released a video yesterday, confirming that the Samsung Galaxy Ring smart ring can be paired with any Android phone (requires Android 11 system and above). Not just limited to Samsung

According to reports, non-Samsung phone users can download the Galaxy Wearable app from app stores such as Google Play, and then set up the pairing with the Galaxy Ring in the app. This is undoubtedly good news for users who are considering buying the Galaxy Ring but use smartphones of different brands.

Note: To use Galaxy Ring on non-Samsung Galaxy devices,Some features such as Find My Ring, Energy Score, Wellness Tips, and Galaxy AI are not available.

Samsung's official update blog post previously stated: "Galaxy Ring must be paired with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone." After the video was released, Samsung's official website corrected the relevant description, claiming that it supports pairing with any Android phone (Android 11 and higher, with memory greater than 1.5GB).
