On July 23, a reporter from The Paper learned that Kudi Coffee officially announced a plan to open 8,000 convenience stores in the second half of the year at a half-year work meeting that ended recently. Kudi Coffee's convenience store strategy was officially launched on May 21 this year. After two months of store operation and testing, the results were good. On this basis, the company issued a work plan for the second half of this year and proposed a goal of 50,000 convenience stores in the next three years, achieving the strategic vision of "Kudi within 100 meters" in major consumer scenarios.

It is reported that Kudi Coffee was established in October 2022. As of now, the company's business covers 28 countries and regions around the world, with more than 7,500 stores, ranking fourth in the world.

"As we all know, the raw materials of a cup of coffee account for a very low proportion of the sales price, and a large amount of expenses are concentrated on rent, decoration, loss and labor costs." Li Yingbo, chief strategy officer of Kudi Coffee, said that product strength, convenience and price are the three key factors for customer selection. The company has basically completed the construction of the supply chain and achieved initial cost advantages. The company also started three product upgrades in June this year. In the future, convenience stores will be one of the important ways for the company to develop and deeply integrate into various scenarios and formats. (Shao Bingyan, reporter of The Paper)
